Clubs

Student Council helps share students' ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school principals. They often also help raise funds for school-wide activities, including social events, community projects, helping people in need and school reform. Student council members work to improve the school culture and foster school spirit. 

Newspaper Club is a fun way to feed the journalist bug in all of us.  Think about it, how often do you post a story on social media about something you saw?  That is journalism.  In Newspaper Club, students drive the direction of the newspaper and do all of the work to get it published by our deadline.  Ideas must be pitched and investigated.  People must be interviewed and pictures taken.  The writing process is followed and each story is perfected.  Seeing your hard work published never gets old.  Join the newspaper club and see it journalism holds a future for you.
