EDGE (Earn a Degree, Graduate Early)

In the Early College High School/EDGE (Earn a Degree, Graduate Early) program, students graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate degree free of charge. The program provides high school students with the support they need to succeed in college with extra tutoring, monthly events with classmates, study sessions, and even access to college facilities!

Early College High School Student Experience 

9th grade

Students do not take college courses in 9th grade; however, they participate in cohort events and learn skills necessary for college such as time management, study skills, etc.

10th grade

In sophomore year, students take a total of four college-level courses (two in the fall, two in the spring) but spend most of their time on their high school campus taking high school classes. Transportation will be provided when students go to TCC.

11th grade

In junior year, students take a total of seven college courses (three in the fall, four in the spring) and split their time between their high school campus and the TCC campus. Transportation will be provided.

12th grade

In senior year, students take a total of eight college courses (four in the fall, four in the spring) and split their time between their high school campus and the TCC campus. Transportation will be provided.
